Wall-hung toilets are becoming increasingly popular because they bring a clean, modern look to a bathroom. They look great, but can you install an electronic bidet on a wall-hung toilet? It depends on the specific model of toilet, but generally speaking, an electronic bidet can be installed on a wall-hung toilet as long as a few additional considerations are taken into account.

With a traditional floor-standing toilet, the water shutoff valve and toilet fill valve are exposed on the left side. However, wall-hung toilets are designed to have a clean, minimalist look, so they typically don't have exposed water supply or shutoff valves. This is a problem with electronic bidets, as the bidet itself requires a water supply connection. If you are renovating, this may be an easy solution where you can simply have a plumber or contractor install an exposed shutoff valve next to the toilet to supply water to the electronic bidet. If you are not currently renovating, you will have to consult a plumber about the difficulty of adding a shutoff valve next to the toilet. Also, don’t forget that electronic bidets also require a nearby electrical outlet to plug into.
